This study proposes following hypothesis: Bahrain's current government and political system can provide the proportionate response to future internal or external crises and effectively manage international pressures, leading to an increased capacity of the Bahrain political system to generate tenable solutions for the long term protection of its people and interests. Social, economic, and other crises experienced by Bahrain during the 21st Century are not only the result of internal factors, but also of international and regional interactions, which have a direct impact on the 741 square kilometer country's ability to participate in regional approaches to crises.
