The ability to step back and look at events through the eyes of a writer is inspiring and provides a poet a multitude of topics to reflect upon. This collection of poems is based upon actual events and discussions in an elementary school.

Autor

The author has always used writing to express herself. She grew up in a large family in a time when playing outside, reading a good book, listening to music playing on the record player, and finding joy in baking chocolate chip cookies for her family were day-to-day occurrences. Writing became a private way to express herself. Using a pencil and paper was also the way she processed information while attending school and she is still the note-taker at teachers' meetings and workshops!
