The primary focus of this book is to help individuals realize that they really need to and can keep their bodies healthy. In this present time, there are quite a number of situations that do not allow the body to maintain true health. To make this book interesting to read, the author has chosen to allow the body to do the writing, with his help. Again, this book was infl uenced by the author’s loss of his mother. After Terry started to look into natural cures and ways to really to take care of one’s own body, he found out that his mother could have lived longer and healthier if he had implemented some of this newfound information. Like I mentioned at the start of this information about this book, if individuals listen to what the body is giving out, readers are certain to see a happier body. There are not a lot of outright cures or a list of books and websites in this book. A secondary purpose of this book is to encourage individuals to use the internet and the many books that will provide actual paths to follow that the body will be very happy with. Back to Terry’s mother. The things his mother’s body would have complained about was drinking black coffee all day and having very little water and having a diet that consisted of a lot of meats. If the meats could have been grass fed or organic, it would have been better. The fi nal work about this situation is mentioned in the title of the book. His mother had acid refl ux for several years. She was prescribed antacids. She actually should have had more stomach acid to truly digest her food and avoid the heartburn (acid refl ux). Scientists in Germany developed a system where they were able to measure the stomach acid of individuals. They found that a very large number of individuals over the age of fi fty had lower levels of hydrochloric acid than necessary for good digestion. You, as readers of this book, have to be proactive in searching for as many ways as possible to help keep your bodies healthy. A very good start is to google natural cures for whatever concern there is. You have to be careful as you search, but it can be done. Look for good naturopathic doctors. One such doctor would be Dr. Mercola. Good luck in your search.

I have spent a majority of my life about the same as everyone else. Things began to change when my mother in law developed esophgeal cancer. A friend of my wife invited her to a health seminar. Pat came back and suggested we both go to the next one. Because of this one event, things began to change direction in my life. I became very interested in naturalpathic care of one's body. This interest lead me to train to be a microscopist. Microscopy is the study of live blood under a microscope. I was going to create a business and did with the creation {See Your Health}. I did at least 400 microscopy sessions until the chance that I could lose my microscope, computer and other items to the Food and Drug Administration stopped my progess. I could be accuse me practicing medicine without a license. This would be due to a simple fact that I have to take a drop of blood to view it. Microscopy is further explained in the book. Now what do I do. My next thought was to organise and do health seminars. I had studied a lot and had a lot of basic information that could really help individuals live a healthier and productive life. I did present one seminar using a nice overhead projector. I also had eight booths run by other businesses that had a very good information, services and products. The attendance was very small and I realized this was not going to work either. Now what? In the previous five years, I had already talked to many people about health. I talked to cashiers, waitressess and to anyone that would listen. Most were very interested in the information I had. After the conversation, there were several individuals suggested I write a book. I thought that may be a good idea, so here it goes.
