The atlas includes photomicrographs from the cyanobacteria to the higher plants, passing through fungi, mosses, liverworts and ferns. In the plants we study all kinds of tissues as well as sections of different parts such as the root, stem, leaf and the female and male parts of the flower.

Autor

The author has a PhD in Biology from the Faculty of Biology of the University of Santiago of Compostela since 1983. Later, since 1986, Pablo Gómez got the condition of professor of Biology and Geology in state public secondary level. Pablo Gómez Segade has performed different functions of collaboration with the Universities of Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña, emphasizing the role of teaching in practical classes of Cytology and Histology in the Faculty of Biology of the University of Santiago de Compostela
