This article deals with literacy concepts and reports on an activity carried out with some students from the Portuguese section of the Department of Iberian and Latin American Studies (DEILA / Portuguese). The objective is to meet their needs through a literacy approach, since gaps in their literacy training have consequences for their social insertion.
