Monty Kuka, PHD, has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for more than 35 years. After getting degrees from the University of Notre Dame, and the University of California- Berkeley, he returned to his native Montana to a private practice. During those years he wrote a newspaper column and magazine articles, but "Pith on Life" is his first book. Kuka- great name for a psychologist- is now a retired person with an affinity for wordplay. After a career as a psychotherapist, he has settled into a plan to write three books. "Pith on Life- I have a Lithp" will be followed by two more serious efforts: "Pith on Life- Thoughtful Reflections," (original quotes and poetry for contemplation), and a book of wisdom about how people work, "The Insight Story- All about you." Monty has lived in Montana, the last best place, nearly all his life. He is blessed to live with his Chiropractor wife, Colette, in a home that overlooks the Missouri River and has a panoramic view of prairie and mountains. Bea, the Border Collie mix, rules the roost with an iron paw. They share the joy of three married children and their nine delightful and talented grandchildren.
