Autor

Shayna Barksdale, LCSW, began her social work journey in her early twenties, right after earning her master's degree from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio. With over thirty years' service, she has obtained several credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S), Certified Daring Way Facilitator (Brené Brown's shame resilience theory), and certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. In 2012, Shayna founded Austin Therapy for Girls and enjoys residing in her hometown with her husband, Brook, and their two rescue dogs.
