Each shrine will test Myndri's knowledge, as well as her physical powers. Breeze, a teenage street urchin, has spent the first thirteen years of her life in search of her mother that disappeared while she was an infant. In an attempt to earn money for her homeless "family," she was instructed by the local thieves guild to steal a lost weapon. When things go wrong, Breeze is forced to flee. During her escape, she meets Trebor, a Nepelite chieftain and disciple of Yavo who teaches her about his beliefs. With the same destinations, Myndri and Breeze cross paths and decide to travel together.
