The research experiment was carried out at the Forest Biotechnological Laboratory, College of Forestry and the Department of Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, ASPEE College of Horticulture, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari during 2021-22. The experiment of multifactorial characterization of Pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp.] dwarfism using exogenous GA application, metabolomic analysis via UHPLC-MS/MS and thoroughly investigated gibberellic acid biosynthesis pathway genes. Structural variation present in the Gibberellic acid biosynthesis pathway will pave the road for the future investigation and manipulation of the dwarf trait.

Autor

Ajay Sojitra is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Forest Biotechnology at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He holds M.Sc. (Agriculture) degree with a specialization in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and a B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) from Navsari Agricultural University. He contributed to many book chapters, editorships and research papers.
