However, despite all the existing attempts, the long-term results of treatment of NVG still do not satisfy ophthalmic surgeons, due to the high percentage of intra and postoperative complications, including postoperative scarring.In the last decade, in the world, despite the proven effectiveness of the PDT method in the treatment of certain eye diseases, unified methodological approaches to the use of PDT in NVG have not yet been developed. This monograph is devoted to the main aspects of the use of photodynamic therapy in the complex treatment of neovascular glaucoma with experimental and clinical studies. The monograph is intendedfor ophthalmologists and master's students of medical universities.
