Al doped Ni Ferrites have the ability to degrade dyes. However fine tuning of physicochemical properties of the reaction system and characteristics of reactor plays a significant role for making photocatalytic degradation a large scale activity.The last chapter shows the effect of Ni and Zn dopping on the structural and optical properties of CuO which is a technologically important material. The defects incorporated and change in the crystallite size and the formation of new phases were addressed.
