He is a recipient of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) William Newell Power Electronics Award, and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Royal Academy of Engineering, and the IEEE.
