Petrichor questions societal norms, the existence of true love, and reality itself, all while the author exists in perpetual tension between fatalism and hope. By doing so, perhaps he does tell a story after all: a story he himself has yet to realize. In the end, he is left with one lingering question: will She ever find the roadmap that leads to Herself?
