Gabriel Santiago was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has written many books with different genres, yet now he decided to write for children. He writes book with meanings and teachings for people to learn a moral out of his stories. In Peter and Maria, it shows how friendship is special and that care grows with the more you share your friendship, but some things you must learn to also share your friend with the world. Many friends can have time to be together, but sometimes, if they need to attend to a situation or another person, it does not mean that the friendship is over but that friendship is something you can give to many people not just one. Gabriel has many friends and family and knows the importance of being there for each of them when he is needed because loving one another is healthy for this world we live in.
