The major findings of the study indicate that MFIs operating in the city of Addis Ababa are expanding in terms of outreach but are sluggish in their speed as compared to their African peers. In addition, these institutions can survive in the near future even though their profitability is very negligible.

Mr. Hailu Fissha Mengistu(M.Sc.), the author of this book has obtained his first and M.Sc. degree in Accounting and Finance in Adama and Addis Ababa University in July, 2006 and 2009 respectively.He taught various accounting courses for the previous years. He published this Book while he is working at Arba Minch University, Department of Accounting
