The present research work has focused on the way PMS is implemented in a public sector organization i.e NTPC. The present descriptive study has completely focused on the relevant areas of PMS like Performance Appraisal which is a part of PMS. Finally conclusions were drawn based on which the suggestions were also made to gain more effectiveness in PMS in the organization. The organization is advanced in adopting the change and the same is not a tough task i.e.to focus on the suggestions made as PMS in the organization is at early-growth stage. This research study further provides the deep insight for budding researchers who are in the same field.
