PenguiNet is a Telnet, SSH and SCP client for Windows developed by Silicon Circus. In contrast to PuTTY, PenguiNet is a commercial application. It features a TDI and uses enhanced connection profiles. The connection profiles are organized in a tree structure and let you configure the connections either separately or by applying the settings to the root of the tree, which expands to all of the child items. Telnet is a network protocol used on the Internet or local area networks to provide a bidirectional interactive text-oriented communications facility using a virtual terminal connection.
