The objective of this study is to analyze how the parenting tendencies of Latino parents affect their children¿s academic performance answering the question: How do parenting styles affect the academic performance of Latino adolescents? The study of development, especially that of adolescents and their education is vital in aiding students in their educational endeavors. Having educated students provides the world with literate, competent members of society.
