Dr. Burroughs taught us that painting is a solitary quest, an endeavor you travel through alone I discovered how to be alone with myself. These paintings reflect my views of life and I feel about what I see. As I see it there is an abundance of beauty in the world if one takes the time to see it. Painting is the one discipline that is my sanctuary. I can go inside away from the blarring affects of our global mental conditions. I go inside to find my beauty, my peace, my love, and my truth. When I paint I feel free, truly free. If music be the food for the soul then painting must be dessert.
