Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and rivers.Frogs are amphibians in the order Anura (meaning "tail-less", from Greek an-, without + oura, tail), formerly referred to as Salientia (Latin salere (salio), "to jump").
