The bank's name is often mistakenly thought to be incorrectly spelled, but is in fact a predominantly British usage of the word more commonly spelt as "overseas". At the time of its establishment, the bank helped customers with financial solutions for their immediate personal and business needs during the financial crisis, and it has since gone on to establish itself in the region.
