This study initially included a theoretical survey of organizational commitment and its main approaches. It also presented significant concepts on the subject of performance and the importance of evaluating it in modern organizations. The main objective was to analyze the organizational commitment of the employees of a leading company in its segment, especially its relationship with the individual performance of those surveyed. The Behavioral Intentions Scale of Organizational Commitment (EICCO) was used to analyze and collect data on commitment, which includes the affective and instrumental approaches to commitment. Three indicators were used to assess employee performance: the direct coordinator's rating, self-assessment and the amount of commission received during a given period. Based on the results, it was possible to identify a high percentage of organizationally committed employees in the company, especially under the instrumental approach. Positive correlations were foundbetween organizational commitment and two of the performance indicators used.
