Improved performance, in turn, implicit that there have been quantifiable changes in knowledge, skills, perspective, and /or social behaviour. There are several dimensions associated with training. In the present research effect of training on organisational citizenship behavior with the mediation of core self- evaluation is studied. Training variables comprises of training opportunities, support for training, motivation to learn, benefits of training, satisfaction towards training along with the mediation of core self evaluation variables comprises of self-esteem, self-efficacy, emotional stability along with organizational citizenship behavior variables altruism, conscientiousness, civic virtue, sportmanship, courtesy. Thus basing the theoretical links between the constructs, a conceptual framework are structures and hypotheses are formulated relating to it. It is found that every training variable enhances organisational citizenship behaviour and core self-evaluation tends to be partial mediation.
