Syed H. Murshid is Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. He received his BE in Electronics Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, his MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology. He teaches optics and circuits courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. His research focuses on optical fiber communications and sensors. He holds ten US & International patents and has made over 30 patent disclosures.
