The present work is being carried out within the SIAM (Spectroscopy & Atomic Imaging of Materials) team at Cadi Ayyad University. It consists in studying the luminescence of samples of Ni, Cr, Ti and the oxides NiO and Cr2O3, using the SIPS technique. The targets are bombarded with 5 keV Kr+ ions at an angle of 65° to the normal, and the spectral range explored extends from the near-UV to the visible.
