A delightfully funny absurdist play that explores the nature of humanity and our fear of the unknown.
DANIEL EVANS is an avid arts/media worker who has a passionate preoccupation with art and culture: be it in any size, shape, colour or form. A graduate of Creative Industries at the Queensland University of Technology, majoring in Interdisciplinary studies, Evans currently works as the Arts Editor for Queensland's leading street press, SCENE Magazine. There he has interviewed and profiled a broad gamut of both local and international arts practitioners, and reviewed countless productions. A keen writer, Evans contributes to the multimedia street zine Brisneyland and the fringe magazine Vulture. He also moonlights as the Program Officer for the Brisbane Cabaret Festival; a three day event which gives a platform to cutting-edge cabaret acts from around Australia. In his spare time he is a performance studies teacher and always aims to empower and liberate young people through theatre. His work, Holy Guacamole (the story of a boy born with the features of an avocado) premiered in 2006.
