Cheri Gienger wrote this book out of the special relationship she has with her great nephew. For Gienger, children are a blessing, and every moment spent with them could potentially result in a book because they create such special moments, as was the case in Oopsie Daisy. This is Gienger's second "project from my heart," the first being her book, Where are Grammy and Poppi," which was a very personal and somewhat difficult project."
