Chapter 1 covers monobloc and autofrettaged gun barrels, vibration effects and chamber design. The second chapter handles breech assemblies and the dynamics of semi automatic mechanisms. Chapter 3 covers hydro pneumatic recoil systems exhaustively. The fourth chapter is devoted to balancing gears and the last two chapters effectively deal with elevating and traversing mechanism design.
