He doesn't know who he is. And there's another thing. Why are weird thoughts and images invading his mind? When he almost kills someone, Ric decides to sort himself out. His search for answers takes him home to North Queensland. Is he the son of an Italian immigrant family? Or are those disturbing images hinting at a vastly different ancestry? Each time he discovers new information, further questions arise, and further roadblocks confront him. When he confirms his suspicion that he is adopted, he discovers disturbing secrets involving historical adoption processes, cross-cultural conflict and family shame. His perceptions about himself are challenged Rod Davison is a retired doctor who has pondered these questions throughout his working life, much of which has been with First Nations health services.
