She wondered if life in the house would ever change and they would all get along, but even with their differences they needed each other to survive. Though they trusted no-one not even themselves. When an enigmatic stranger, Manny, arrives Helena reluctantly comes to realise he was the answer to her prayer, or rather the prayers of fifteen year old Grace. At first, Helena struggles to trust Manny but he wins her over and she comes to rely on him in ways she didn't expect. Manny was a mystery turning up unexpectedly but always at the right time. Even more astonishing is the others eventually accept him too. Helena finally accepts that understanding her past is the only way forward, and with Manny's help she begins the journey of finding the truth of who she really is.
