Widely used sports records and record values associated with natural phenomena (largest and smallest temperatures, atmospheric pressure, gale force winds, river cresting). To predict an ultimate world record in various fields the probability models are used. This book describes IGD and record values. This book defines the upper record values from IGD and some of its basic properties. A limiting theorem, recurrence relation, LR test and CI are presented in this book. At the end a simulation study by generating random numbers is presented. This book will be useful to statistics students of MS or PhD degree to develop their problem solving skills.
