This was a prospective study of 47 cases of obstructive renal failure over a 12-month period from April 2022 to March 2023. It was established that: obstructive renal failure represents 6.73% of surgical activity in Urology CHU GT. The mean patient age was 57.34 ± 21.81 years, with a sex ratio of 1.93. Our patients consulted for dysuria and pollakiuria + lumbago in 23.4% and 21.3% of cases respectively. Bladder globe was observed in 25.5% of patients. Mean creatinine was 635.38±1488.37 mimol/L, with extremes ranging from 126 to 9999 mimol/L. Uricemia was elevated in 96.8% of patients. Ultrasound was performed in 51.1% of cases. Bladder catheterization was the most commonly used type of emergency urinary drainage, accounting for 61.7%.
