Yet, if we're honest, there are times, in the right circumstance, it may be a relief for someone to tell us which way to turn. Have you ever come to a fork in the road and wondered, do I go right or do I go left? Do I take this path or the other? Since many of our choices leave lasting marks, whether positive or negative, that ripple through the remainder of our lives, which path is better for me? Have you ever hoped there was someone or something that could help you make a wise choice and know which path to choose? Wilma believes there is Someone. In a world where absolutes are being challenged and questioned on every level, it may seem odd to some to think someone would submit themselves to a holy God, 'if' He does exist, and the principles of His Word, the Bible. Wilma takes a provocative stance challenging us to ask the question: what does a holy God and His Word say in regard to divorce? And what does that mean for me and my situation? Wilma acknowledges, "Going through divorce was, by far, the hardest thing I've gone through in my life up to this point. At times, it was a dark, dark journey. Other times it seemed as if God was asking too much. But, after wrestling with Him, and eventually yielding to Him, I can now see that the peace and fulfillment God has given me are gifts I would not have experienced had I not yielded myself to Him and obeyed. Looking back, God's light for the next step was always there, drawing me forward, gently nudging me, even when I couldn't see it. Although obedience to God's Word is not always easy, it is the most fulfilling, rewarding and, quite possibly, the most difficult thing you'll ever do.
