Dr. Debashis Dutta is Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India. He obtained his M.Sc. in Mathematics in 1988 and Ph.D. in Operations Research in 1994, both from IIT Kharagpur. He has 30 years of teaching experience and 34 years of research experience in Operations Research, Soft Computing, and Statistics. He has supervised six Ph.D. students and 58 postgraduate dissertations. He also mentored two postdoctoral students. He is Member of ISTE, the Soft Computing Research Society, and ORSI (Kolkata Chapter). Dr. Dutta is a reviewer of 9 journals. He has published 40 articles in international and national journals and has authored four books. He has organized two short-term training programs in Statistics and Optimization Techniques. He was the convenor of NOIEAS-2019 and was one of the convenors of the ISTAM-2023 conference. Dr. Sujit Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Warangal, India. He obtained Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Durgapur. Dr. Das has 21 years of rich experience in teaching, along with 12 years of experience in research in the quality educational sector. He has authored over 70 papers in various prestigious journals and conferences and scored more than 2000 citations. He has guided 2 doctoral and 25 postgraduate dissertations. He is an active reviewer in many reputed journals and conferences. He is a well-known resource person in the field of Universal Human Values. He has organized several Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), chaired sessions, and delivered talks as an invited speaker in various FDPs, Seminars, and Conferences. Dr. Das is a senior member of IEEE, a life member of ORSI, and a member of ACM. His research interests include Soft Computing Techniques, Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation, Machine learning, and Multi-criteria Decision Making. Dr. Jagannath Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, India. He holds a B.Sc. from Jadavpur University, an M.Sc. from IIT Madras, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from NIT Durgapur. With five years of teaching and eleven years of research experience, Dr. Roy has received several national recognitions, including the DST-INSPIRE Scholarship, DST-INSPIRE Fellowship for doctoral research, and the UGC-Dr. D. S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship. His research interests lie in fuzzy optimization, multi-criteria and multi-objective decision-making, and transportation and logistics management. He has published over 20 international journal articles, along with two conference papers and two book chapters, garnering more than 1100 citations on Google Scholar. Dr. Roy has supervised one Ph.D. scholar, currently guides two others, and has mentored 13 postgraduate dissertations. He is a Life Member of the Operational Research Society of India (Kolkata Chapter) and serves as a reviewer for several international journals. Prof. Biswajit Mahanty is Professor at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. In the past, he was Dean (Planning and Coordination) of IIT Kharagpur for more than four years. Earlier, he was also Head of the Department of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Professor Mahanty has obtained his B.Tech. (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering and his M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management—all from IIT Kharagpur. He has had a rich and varied professional career with over six years of industrial experience and 33 years of teaching, research, and industrial consulting work experience.
