On a holiday in Cornwall Julian and Gaby Radclive are entertained by friends from Oxford at the local cliff top hotel. His supplier in Cornwall, whom Julian identifies, finds another distributor, a London-based dealer who already distributes throughout the UK. Unwisely, Julian agrees to help the police track down the dealer and exposes himself and his friends to danger and injury. The scene shifts between Cornwall, Oxfordshire, London and back to Cornwall before the villain is finally cornered.
