As I grew up in one of the most dangerous cities in United States (New Orleans), I found contentment in writing. My quiet demeanor but useful capabilities allowed me to escape the violence and chaos around me. I didn't involve myself in the troubles of the world; therefore, I stayed under the radar. I began writing in high school, where I found freedom by putting my thoughts on paper. I was able to compress my feelings and emotions in a constructive manner while engaging readers into my world. My lifetime dream was to publish books. My dreams were put on hold due to motherhood. I dedicated my life to my two children and ensured their every need was met first. One day, I couldn't sleep. I sat and reflected on my life and felt something was missing. I was the sole provider for my children with a major void in my heart. It came to me after reading my daily horoscope: "Be creative and write your thoughts down." I went out, purchased a new laptop, and the writing began! This book is like another child to me. I have put my heart and soul into it from birth. It has been fed, bred, and loved. This will be the first of many for me. I hope everyone enjoys the feelings they get from my firstborn book.
