Nineteen Stories was largely inspired by the craftwork of Argentinian short story author Jorge Luis Borges, who penned such notable works as, 'The Library of Babel', 'Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius', and 'The Garden of Forking Paths'. The potency of succinctness, the economy of language, and the architecture of opening and closing a creative account were driving forces in its creation.
