A native of Jones County, Mississippi, Buck divides his time between Ellisville, MS and Washington, DC, where he works as a writing coach and publishing consultant. Previously published works include Marijuana Softdrink, Ladies Love Outlaws, and Tachycardia: Poems 2010-2012 (all published by Edge Books of Washington, DC). In 2017, Furniture Press Books (Baltimore, MD) published a selected poems, Unintended Empire. Greedy Man, another selected poems, was released in 2023 by CCCP/Subpress (New York, NY). Since 1993, Buck has delivered poems via monthly postcards and other home-crafted print ephemera, including pamphlets, posters, and stickers, distributing poetry to hundreds of friends and fans across the U.S. and around the world.
