Yang Xu received his doctoral degree from Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2003. After obtaining his degrees, Dr. Xu worked for Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology (INET) of Tsinghua University from year 2003 to 2014, and after that, he returned to Department of Engineering Physics. Since December 2010, he served as Associate Professor and National Registered Consulting Engineer. Dr. Xu’s research focuses on the nuclear fuel cycle and instrument control. His research work has won the third-grade prize of national defense science and technology. Guo Lin, Senior Engineer (highest grade), currently works at the Instrumentation and Control Design Institute of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., serving as Director of the Instrumentation and Control Design Institute, Chief Engineer of Instrumentation and Control Systems, Expert Member of the IEC/TC45/SC45A Standards Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and Expert Member of TC30/SC1 of the National Standardization Administration (SAC). He has long been engaged in the research and design of instrumentation and control systems and equipment for nuclear power plants. He has published 8 papers in core journals, obtained 10 invention patents (including 2 UK invention patents), received over 10 science and technology progress awards from various societies/associations and group companies, and led the development and revision of the international standard "IEC 62397 - Safety Important Instrumentation for Nuclear Power Plants - Resistance Temperature Detectors". Zheming Liu studied enterprise financial accounting at Jilin Finance and Taxation College and computer software and application at Jilin University between 1996 and 2013. He was Secretary General of the Product Information Working Committee of China Instrumentation Society and is now Deputy Director and Secretary General of the Enterprise Science and Technology Industry Committee of China Technology Market Association. Weihua Chen's research focuses on nuclear power instrumentation and informatization, and he was awarded the title of Local Leader in Shenzhen. In recent years, he has won 4 first prizes and 5 second prizes at the provincial and ministerial level, 1 patent gold prize in China, and 1 patent silver prize in Guangdong Province and participated in the publication of 3 SCI papers. Yanyang Liu, Professor Senior Engineer, Doctoral Supervisor at Nuclear Power Institute of China, serves as Assistant Director of Design and Research Sub-institute, Chairman of the Nuclear Instrument, Control and Electrical Branch of the Sichuan Nuclear Society, and Director of Sichuan Nuclear Power Instrument and Control Engineering and Technology Research Center. Mr. Liu was previously appointed by the institute as Chief Expert in the field of reactor I&C and Chief Engineer of China Nuclear Control System Engineering Co., Ltd. Mr. Liu graduated from Engineering Physics Department of Tsinghua University in 1992 and has long been engaged in the research of reactor I&C system. Mr. Liu has led the design of reactor I&C systems for multiple nuclear power projects including Qinshan phase II, Fangjiashan, Fuqing, etc. Yongbin Sun, High-Level Engineer of researcher’s grade, is Chairman and General Manager of CGN Digital Technology Co., Ltd. Dr. Sun has extensive experience in I&C system design and has been involved in general design and preliminary design for more than 20 nuclear units in China, including CPR1000, CPR1000+, ACPR1000, HPR1000, VVER-1200, etc. He is also Project Manager for more than 14 units of 100MW NPPs. Dr. Sun has presided over a number of national scientific research projects and the laboratory construction work. He is also In Charge of compiling the top-level standard in the nuclear I&C field initiated by the National Energy Administration of China.
