It can be used in several applications. Unlike centrifugal pumps, increasing the temperature of the liquid is not only beneficial for pumping water but it reduces energy consumption. The influence of operating conditions and geometric characteristics of the driver on the pumping performance and evaporative were elucidated. Heat transfer and mass, as well as the effectiveness of humidification and freshwater productivity, were studied in detail. The coefficients of heat transfer and material between the water and air are increasing functions of air and water flow rates.
