Some of those experiences have been traumatic or difficult. They have also brought strength to my faith and tools to my faith toolkit so that I can live my life as a follower of Jesus Christ. I have spent much of my career in education including children's ministry positions in the church. My ministry and career have not been limited to young children. A wonderful part of my education career has been creating and leading early childhood education inservice classes. I have also been a parenting coach for young families. Teaching educators and parents about brain development and function has taught me much about how God created our brains. These experiences in my career, ministry and mission work have led me to write this book in a way that tells my story and gives glory to God.
