The Bio-inspired optimization algorithms such as particle swarm optimization algorithm with several inertia weight strategies(SPSO, CIPSO, and CPSO), Bat algorithm (BA) and Firefly algorithm (FFA)were developed to tune PID controller parameters for the speed control of BLDC motor.
