This is a study on a purified Disintegrin like obtained by auto-proteolysis of metalloproteinase / Disintegrin like fraction obtained from Cerastes cerastes snake venom on expression of TNF- , and Heme-oxygenase-1 in white mice liver tissue injected intra-peritoneally with the purified Disintegrin like . Hepato-protective effect of the Disintegrin like against some hepatotoxins as CCl4 was investigated using molecular biology techniques and histopathology.

Dr.Zaki is a lecturer of Medical biochemistry in Faculty of medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.He was graduated in 1998. He has many research contributions in the field of Natural toxins, including;a Master degree project, M.D.thesis and internationally published original research articles.
