However, in all previous observatories observations of celestial bodies were not put on a scientific basis. Rather, they were chaotic in nature and Tusi, with his inherent craving for systematization and a systematic approach, took up the matter thoroughly and comprehensively. He created the most perfect mathematical apparatus for the time and approached observatory astronomy with great responsibility and purposefulness.After the beginning of research at the observatories: Chinese in Beijing, Ulugh Beg in Samarkand, Danish Thiho Brahe and Indian in Jaipur, instruments and tools invented directly at the Maraga Observatory were used and improved.
