In this context, our research study proposed to a potential metronidazole incorporated nanoemulgel using carbopol 940 with different concentration as a gelling agent. The observed results from invitro diffusion shows that metronidazole nanoemulgel could be beneficial to treat rosacea with a better retention time as compared to market gel conventional formulation. However, further preclinical and clinical studies are required to access the bioavailability of the drug.
