On a family cruise that Jackie designed to celebrate her daughter's life, Jackie broke her fibula in a zip lining accident which ironically led doctors to discover an aortic aneurysm in her heart. The trouble didn't stop there. Open heart surgery led to numerous complications including a brain bleed and a brush with death. Jackie now stands at the top of her metaphorical mountain, looking back at the difficult landscapes she navigated. These difficulties have not slowed her down.
