My Mom is Going Back to School follows the story of eight-year-old Bryce who receives news that Mom is going back to school to finish her degree. Bryce is excited to be in school like Mom so they can study together, share report cards, pack school lunches together and more. Bryce also understands the need to pitch in a little extra because Mom will be extra busy while in school. The book ends with Bryce's mom receiving her diploma at graduation and the whole family celebrating, however, there is a final surprise: Bryce's dad announces that he too is going to go back to school!

Autor

Debbie Cavalier is a music educator and Grammy-winning songwriter. She is the leader of the children's group Debbie & Friends and is the CEO and co-founder of Berklee Online, Berklee College of Music's online college. She currently serves on the Avid Executive Board, and recently served on the UPCEA Board of Governors, the Boston Higher Education Innovation Council, and was honored with the She Rocks "Inspire Award," and Boston's "50 on Fire Award" for Education. In her spare time, Debbie is a volunteer musician with the Musicians On Call organization, singing bedside to brave young patients at Boston's Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center and Boston Children's Hospital in the Seacrest Studios. Through the COVID-19 crisis, she provides weekly Live stream sing-alongs for children via YouTube Live.Dana Regan is a children's author and illustrator based in Kansas City, Missouri. Her books have collectively sold more than one million copies. To date, she has written 10 books and illustrated more than 85 for a variety of publishers, including Scholastic, Random House, Penguin, Grosset & Dunlap, HarperCollins, and Simon & Schuster. She has also illustrated for High Five and Highlights Magazine.
