Cleland describes those relevant methodologies he experienced while teaching at Loyola University Chicago, Notre Dame de Chicago Academy also in Chicago and at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois and in addition Cleland includes significant educational experiences which informed and enriched his learning while a student at St. Norbert School in Northbrook, Illinois and as a student at Glenbrook North High School in District 225 of the State of Illinois. The author shares how he added an architecture and design division to the Fine Arts department at Loyola Academy and hopes other schools will follow this successful model.
