This is my story of growing up in Cascade Township in Lycoming County of Pennsylvania. I lost my parents several years back. They would often tell us many wonderful stories of their youth growing up in this area. My brother, sisters and I would sit around and hang on their every word as they told stories of their childhood and growing up with their siblings. I wish now that I would have written more of these wonderful stories. That is why I wrote this book. We lived in the same county for most of our lives until we made the sudden move to Kansas. Now my siblings and I are scattered across the country. But our roots are buried in that quiet little valley. I want my stories to be told to my children, their children and the generations to come. I wrote this book for all you who have thought of writing about the events in your life. I hope my book inspires you to write you stories.
