I pray that this book will be a blessing to anyone who turns the pages. I, Felecia Powell was born in Houston, Tx in 1965. I am a widow and mother of three children. I married at the early age of sixteen and divorced five years later. Between 1990-1192, I was homeless. The grace of God kept me and protected me. In 1993 I moved to a small town in Texas called Jewett, where I now reside. During my life, from childhood to this present day, God has gifted me with the ability to write and sing. I began writing poetry at an early age. Now, I have put together just a few poems, songs, talks and plays to share with the world.
